My arty birthday gift

Top Zara// Pants Bershka// Heels Le Saunda// Bag Prada// Ring YSL & Artini// Bangle Fendi// Sunglasses from Harajuku Japan// Necklace Forever 21 from Japan//

Finally I receive my birthday present - my YSL Arty ring. Thanks so much, especially for all the failed shopping trips ;) It has been out of stock in Japan and they're running out in most colours in Hong Kong. I love this artistic rock which comes in blue and yellowish-brown natural flavours in the middle (as each rock is different). Which colour of YSL arty ring(s) do you own?

Happy birthday to me again! x

Love Generation - Tokyo Bay

Dress Thrift store// Wedges Ned Rhythm from Japan// Bag Hermes// Sunglasses from Harajuku Japan//

Running to the hottest dating spot in Tokyo Daiba in which we enjoy the spectacular view of Rainbow bridge, Tokyo Tower and the Wheel. I find myself losing in the atmospheric Daiba park imagining all the memorable scenes of the Fuji Japanese drama (a.k.a. the oldest, iconic "Love Generation", anyone here?). The inflow of Japanese dramas in the late 90s has given rise to Japanese drama-induced tourism which changes Asian tourists' perceptions.

Hello Crazy Tokyo!

Ginza - the refined high class shopping area in Tokyo signified by a lot of designer brand shops and elegant ladies. Unlike other girls in Osaka or other Tokyo areas, they are well-dressed and act more occasion-appropriate.

New in - Ned Rythem wedges on discount!

Harajuku - a young area where cosplayers dress up and gather.

Meiji Museum

Kabukicho- a very dodgy place where you find male prostitutes everywhere!

Tokyo is a cultural salad bar where you find all the subcultures of Japan (thus influencing the whole Asia) and each district is identified by its signiture landmark and cultural groups. All you can see on Japanese TV dramas are revealed here - cafes, food, worklives and mentality etc. What I adore about Japanese is they are not afraid to dress differently and they gain much attention.

How do you feel about these different fashion styles?

My second (and last) day in Kyoto is completed by bumping into 2 Geishas by chance, which is very lucky of me because they are very shy and hardly could I find them in Gion area. I spend the day in the Golden Pavalion and Onsen (Hotspring) and enjoying myself around the abundant prewar architectures and serene towns.

Oh Kyoto!

I've come to Kyoto today, one of the most historically renowned city in the world. Very tranquil and cultural, i fall in love with this city instantly. One thing that facsinates me in this city is the frequent promotion of the use of Bicycles - environmentally friendly and romantic. I catch a glimpse of it by renting a bike from the hotel and have a bike trip to the castle and around Kyoto.
