It's TEA TIME!

trench SIMPLE// pink dress from a local shop// sandals FENDI// bag CHANEL (from Karmen, my best friend)// necklace COACH// rings ARTINI & CHANEL// sunglasses from Japan// lip Estee Lauder No. 307 Crystal Orchid //
Typhoon No.8 was hoisted on Thursday - the best gift from God ever comes unexpectedly - my best friends and I went to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at Four Seasons Hotel. The tea set was so exquisite that we spent such a lovely and noisy afternoon gossiping and chatting nonstop like we have been in these 10 years (?). I call it the most amazing day I haven't had for quite a while!

Same blazer, another look.

blazer, striped top & pants ZARA// heels COACH// scarf TOYSKING// clutch from Causeway Bay// sunglasses from Japan//
Same green blazer, another more colourful look. I really really wanna go travelling now....in the midst of the busiest season.

So much character

I like appreciating combination and how people style themselves much more than simply putting on different expensive items on your body every day. There're many chic girls on blogger with huge closets and thousands of Balenciaga bags - but none of them had given me this feeling like she does. I'm completely memerised by her once I clicked her blog, to me she's a living Audrey Hepburn with so much elegance in her physique and eyes, a bit like Audrey Tautou with her smart yet innocent bambi sight with romantic photograpghs of Miss Dior commercials alike. A blog I truly recommend you to read and enjoy with so much character and pictureque scenery of St.Petersburg. I mean, with her legs, she's the catwalk "flats" woman.

Burgundy & green

blazer and waxed jean Zara// blouse H&M// booties InNIU Italy// bag Prada// ring YSL & Chanel// sunglasses from Japan// lip YSL No. 10 Provocative Pink//
So you can tell I'm extremely busy - choral speaking training for specch festival, launch of new online reading system, marking of online and handwritten assignments and compositions, endless disciplinary issues, interclass bulletin board competition, so on and so on. I'm exhasuted to work on weekends and have no time for anything else - being a teacher in Hong Kong is not like in any other countries. (ask the government!) Yet I still picked up a few pieces from Zara. Like my new green blazer combined with burgundy jeans?
Sorry for the lack of time for this blog, I'm trying my best to manage. Now I'm rushing to mark the compos and have birthday dinner with my dearest grandpa!

Sunday escape

Happy Sunday! my weekend is so-so because my bitter Chinese medication, they are, urh! In contrast to western pills' instant effects, Chinese ones are not as severe and are to be used as long term treatment to regulate energy. 3 days to go to complete my first treatment...
It's time to take out all our booties in mid-September!

Closet lust

Of course I'm not a million bucks for a 500sq feet closet, but I'm lucky enough to have a shared room for shoes, bags and clothes. I didnt quite expect that peeping in my own closet could be so fun. I organize what I love and and what are classy that I can wear for years. I invest more on bags, accessories and heels obviously, less on clothes and the rest. While I am indulging in my own little collection, it's your turn to let me lust over your closets... ;-)

Mid-Autumn

dress forgotton// scarf H&M// booties Prada// bag Hermes// sunglasses Marc Jacobs// rings Massimo Dutti & YSL//

A nice scarf to add a touch of autumn accents to the orange dress.

It was Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday for Chinese, I celebrated with my family including my grandpa. I really miss my family, especially for Chinese, we're all our lives closely attached to our families.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all fellows and wish you enjoy the togetherness with your loved ones.

New in: Shoes of art

blazer Zara// snake-skin print blouse Stradivarius.es// pants Bess// booties Prada// sunglasses Marc Jacobs//
That's the thing - some shoes are made to be appreciated instead of being worn. I can hardly walk in these shoes for hours like I did 2 or 3 years ago, in other words, they're completely impratical, but they are incredibly artistic to be visually there. Maybe I'll wear them for photoshoots or window-shopping just to enjoy the beauty of them. Or I'd probably just end up taking them out, walking them in my apartment, grinning at them and gently wrap it up again.

Workwear in town

trench coat Simple// purple top and grey pants Zara// heels Coach// clutch from Causeway Bay// Sunglasses Marc Jacobs// watch Tissot// lip Estee Lauder No.31 Spiced Coral//
There are rules to follow when putting a working outfit together:
1. No short skirts and dresses, so I prefer pants most of the time
2. No accessories that are too chunky - some statement pieces are still okay
3. No neon pink lipsticks
4. no deep v neckline
5. no killer high heels - teachers have to stand and walk all the time
yet, some efforts can be made to combine colours and, a nice watch, a pair of leather pumps and a moisturizing lipstick are must-haves! ;-)

Monday to Friday

blouse, pants and scarf H&M// heels Coach// bag Chanel// sunglasses Marc Jacobs// ring Massimo Dutti// bracelet Tiffany & Co.//
The commencement of the new school year means loads of work to do - and I'm back! What have I missed in the blogosphere? I just took time to shoot a picture or two while waiting for the bus. More office wear coming up in my closet!

Ready for Fall?

knitwear H&M// pants Zara// hat H&M// wedges Ned Rhythm from Japan// rings YSL and Massimo Dutti// lip Chanel No. 9 Lover

Are you ready for Fall? Inspired by this and this, I decided to combine both knitwear and floppy hat for a cozy autumn. H&M has so much to be picked up this season, especially to quench all my thirst for camel and nude colours. Raspberry red lips complete my look.

Peacock blue

Hello there, I was pain-stricken by some sickness of gynaecology (well, kind of, it was urine tract infection, awful!) and almost couldn't breathe nor move my neck properly because of some inappropriate medication. Feels soo good to be healthy again! God, I must take care of myself and buy heavy insurance from now on.

So, kinda bits of "transparancy" from the back of this fav peacock blue colour top of mine!
