In a "Bling" of an Eye

While golden glittering collars may be seen as a staple of parties, I have come to this black dress which is wearable during tropical vacations. Somehow no one can deny that bling bling just goes well with tanned skin - when will be your next vacation?

I've prepared another video for a well-definied night lip look - enjoy!

2. Bobbi Brown Holiday Palette - only availabe in duty free (8 Euro cheaper in Korea than in HK. It's so easy to apply and blend -  a perfect nude eye makeup item)
3. UGB - reputed to be one of the most moisturizing products in Korea (the masks are okay, but what surprises me most is the Aqua Cream. It totally sooths my allergy resulted from dry weather)
4. Market O brownies - are simply what everyone loves as souvenirs

Keeping in the spirit of vibrant looks, I'm back with something bright and subtle at the same time.

Video: Instant Tanning Makeup Look

I've got a pale complexion but I want to achieve a natural skinkissed look for summer without exposing myself in the sun. Instead of tanning all over my face, using different bronzers and highlighters can keep my tan from looking artificial. It is my very first video of application of makeup products so forgive my clumsiness in handling the HD video function. Enjoy.

Topping a cute blouse from Korea on beige one piece - top from Korea, dress from a local store, heels Le Saunda, bangle Hermes, ring Artini and bag Nina Ricci.
Click to see a short video of how I played with my adorable fattie. In case you wonder, she is NOT pregnant, her big tummy is a result of...excessive intake of food, and she's been on diet for years but she's very lazy to do exercise so she still looks the same.

I go tanned!

If you're anything like me (having pale skin for like, forever, and you know procelain skin is the trend here in Asia), you may also freshen up your make-up by going tan. I never advocate exposing under the sun for hours for health reasons, and so certain celebs just go too far and look overbaked - sorry Katie Price and The Only Way to Essex reality stars. To avoid a tanning disaster, we'd rather opt for self-tanning and bronzers. My new items are M.A.C mineralize skin finish - from left to right - Sun Power (contour, body), Medium Dark (base) and Whisper of Gilt (limited edition, a metallic highlighting colour). It's definitely our annual trek to change skin colours, just for a bit of fun. Do tell me what bronzers and self-tanning products you're using.

I'm wearing - a blouse from a local mall, jeans from Stradivarius.es, coat Mixxo from Korea, clutch from Miu Miu, wedges Staccato, arty ring YSL and lips YSL No.13 Peach Passion.

Korea Part 5 Myeong-Dong

Skincare products are on everyone's lips when it comes to Myeong-Dong - Sulwhasoo (has prestigiously earned its reputation), UGB, Daycell and many more. Worth the investment? I guess some of them certainly are, and here I would say give Sulwhasoo lip balm, serum and UGB moisturizing cream a go, but I personally feel the masks are just so-so. (Haha- buying packages with friends and using a special credit card give me almost 40% off when compared to the price in HK!) My skin has significantly improved from allergy and dehydration with hotspring (count roses, lavender, mint and chrysanthemum!), moisturizing skincare (suitable to be used in areas with low humidity like Korea) and last but not least, Kimchi, the top 5 healthiest food in the world.

And wearing a Hanbok is part of the plan to experience one of the most visible aspects of Korean culture.

Korea Part 4 Gangwon-do

Given the chill in Korea, there is no better time to shoot movieposters-pretend-to-be photos with leaves rustling in the air. My friends and I surely know how to get one another into the mood - allow me to keep the rest of the amusing group photos to myself.

Korea Part 3 April Snow at Jeongdongjin

I was expecting to see cherry blossoms in spring, but it was a literal blizzard in the end. It was even more serious than that I had experienced in Europe, for I stayed near the sea and basically the wind was howling. Jeongdongjin railway station is a railway most closely situated to the seashore in the world. Luckily I took my Caffeine cardigan along with me, and I was wearing a You kki dress and glasses bought in Korea. Ummm, my waterproof nightingale just exactly suited the occasion.

Korea Part 2 Tulip Festival in Everland

A truly atmospheric Tulips Festival with zillions of amazing tulips blossoming in the fields of Everland. What a good news for Asians who love tulips! We can enjoy a stunning showcase of tulips here in Korea.

I was wearing a knitwear from H&M and a cardigan from Jolie.
